35 years ago, I watched TNG when I was 9 years old, and Picard was my idol. Now that we're replaying TNG, Picard has become my 9-year-old daughter's idol, and that's a wonderful thing.

I can remember watching TNG when it came out, I watched it everyday. We had no idea from the beginning how epic Jean Luc Picard would become

I enjoyed them all OS, TNG, DS9, Voyager, Enterpise... Then Star Trek went wacky with the new stuff... From what I seen Picard seams to keep the feel of TNG so I think I am going to have to give it a shot...

Patrick Stewart is amazing, I was going to UW at the time of Next Generation and I wouldn't miss an episode. I love that he is still able and that america is still putting out Star Trek programs. Picard seasons 1-3 were super with season 3 being my favorite. I hope they continue to have the old crew in newer Star Trek episodes as it was always FEEL GOOD programming back in the day. So cute that Mila Kunis was so into Patrick Stewart as well.

It's a nice thing that James Corden and Sir Patrick Stewart are able show that they've mended their clash from that award show.

This is an amazing clip. James Corden is an amazing host who knows what to ask to get very personal with his guests with fun facts. Between Kunas mentioning her ring tone and the Stewart story about the Concord I don't know of many interviewers who gets this information out of guests (and the planning he did to get Kunis the "superfan of Star Trek" with Patrick Stewart). Most amazing to me is the dexterity of Patrick Stewart at 82 both in acting at a very high level and just carrying himself.

You know these shows interview them beforehand right? None of this is "casual surprise" questions.

TNG is the BEST and I'm obsessed with Milas reaction. She was trying SO hard to keep it together, and I love her so much for it. love Patrick so much too. The TNG cast is my favorite ever and they are so kind in real life that meeting them made me act exactly the same a Mila! That was a misunderstanding. Glamour UK actually published an article about it at the time because it was so misrepresented in the press: "Corden v Stewart: What Really Happened." Stewart and Corden made up publicly long before this video. : - )

for anyone who has never seen it, check out the James Corden/Patrick Stewart podium debacle. they've patched things up and get along now but Patrick publicly and openly hated James to his face, it was hilarious and cringe.

I just hope that when he pressed those buttons on the Concord, that he slightly tiled his head to the side, brought up his right hand and with a magnificent yet simple gesture said, "Engage".

In my mind, he definitely did.

i can only imagine that perhaps some fans have met there hero`s, and although they imagined them to be all nice, and willing to take the time out of there busy day to stop and chat, however brief, but when they actually met them they possibly soon realised that despite the fact that now only is there someone in front of them who adores them, and possibly a bit too much, and maybe even with other like fans also is the reason why they are famous in the first place, but then here`s the thing, when you sometimes meet your hero, what happens if they are having a bad day, or maybe they think that they are so famous, so that on any terms they cannot possibly talk to anyone, because of the apparent stick up there ass, and especially if they are indeed rude, you as a fan may find yourself not only upset, but also possibly now not wanting anything else to to with your so called hero, and god forbid it may even be posters coming off walls time, so to watch patrick stewart in this clip hopefully gives me a reason to suggest that for once he actually might well be a nice guy, and deep breath actually treat his fans with the respect that they are due, because if nothing else, the reason why he is so famous, and has a nice house etc, is because of us watching his shows and films, and even with star trek the next generation perhaps not getting the best start that it could have during season one, even if it still had some good episodes, but i for one fell in love with captain picard, after a couple of seconds of him stepping onto the screen, and as the years went by, and the next generation just got better and better, it was really the picard show that we were watching, and it still is, and for the inner light alone, we have been blessed, by his acting, and then the next generation ends, and we all feel sad, but then we get first contact, which was worth watching just for mr stewart alone, and then we watched him acting in the x men films, there is simply never ever going to be a time, when our hearts wont swell when we what him in tv and movies, and hell i`ve even liked him as an actor when he was in excalibur, but i have to say that eventually something really horrible will happen, we will lose him to the heavens, but at least through youtube alone, we can watch and re watch, his incredible acting legacy, and for that alone, he will never be forgotten.

For the most part, I get a sense that actors from the UK are at a much much lower key than their American counterparts. By that I mean they are much more conversable, much more apt to share and open up, and more open to being approached. Patrick Stewart IS a BIG DEAL., but, he is so open. Then, there is Mila. SUCH a sweetheart. Lovely in every sense of the word. If I were to meet her, I am sure it would be SO creepy to her that I acted like I knew her....
